The Danish company and international player in the aluminum industry, simonsen a/s, had a vision: to gather all relevant data and documents for each individual order in one place.
A tailored platform
The desire to offer customers an even better service while creating a greater flow of information and data, marked the beginning of the collaboration between simonsen a/s and GearShift. Through multiple conversations and idea exchanges, the different possibilities, needs and requirements were mapped out, and a precise framework for the digital platform was born: “In collaboration with simonsen a/s, we identified their specific needs regarding which order processes, documents and data they wanted to consolidate on one platform and share with their international network. Simonsen a/s’ existing ERP and financial systems are now connected directly to the cloud-based GearShift platform. For their customers, this means that order data is no longer stored separately but instead automatically collected on a single digital platform where customers can access all information in real time.
